Testimonials

Community Scholars is engaging young minds to care for and improve the community that fostered them. We aim to develop leadership skills in the area's youth with the goal of inspiring our students to return to their community and help move it forward.

Despite the numerous national, state and local recognition the organization has received over its 14-year history, the students who emerge from each leadership year are counted as the the organization’s proudest achievements. Individual program participants carry this experience with them for the rest of their lives and attribute many of their academic, personal and professional success to this innovative program.

The following are testimonials and biographies gathered from former Scholars. They are organized by school district. Click on any of the links below to read about many of our Scholars' experiences following the internship in their own words. They say it best!
