Community Scholars

Community Scholars specializes in providing meaningful summer employment and leadership development opportunities for high-achieving and economically disadvantaged high school students. Community Scholars, Inc. is a nonprofit 501 (c) 3 orgaization founded in 1998 and located in El Paso, Texas.
Mission Statement
Community Scholars will ensure that the citizens of the Paso Del Norte region have access to information -- fairly obtained and presented -- and a well-stocked pool of potential leaders who put community interests ahead of special interests.
